LUNG- AND DIAPHRAGM PROTECTIVE MECHANICAL VENTILATION

Illustration I made for our invited scientific paper on clinical strategies for lung- and diaphragm protective mechanical ventilation, published in Intensive Care Medicine in 2020. The illustration explains the concepts of inadequate ventilator pressures and insufficient breathing effort on the lungs and diaphragm.
